I'm getting this as well on linux amd 7900xtx with one of the recent updates. Any image over 1megapixel takes an age to decode. No idea what the issue there is.

Hi All, After testing with the newer version v0.4.0, the z-image generation speed has returned to normal, and it might even be slightly faster. The slowdown issue that occurred in v0.3.76 during z-image generation has been resolved.
If you encountered issues in the older version, you can try creating a new folder and test again with the new version. The problems you experienced may already be fixed in the latest release.
