Please try kicking Muse from your guild and re-inviting.

How did you set up the bot? Docker container?

I'm having much of the same issue (in terms of the bot not finding guild settings) while running the bot through yarn. I tried kicking the bot from my server and re-inviting as well as modifying the invite permissions to flat-out administrator; no dice. Still unable to run any commands.

Deleting the database file might also fix it.

If you're referring to the 'data' folder, I tried deleting that and restarting the bot to no avail. Would it be easier to make the bot function if I figured out docker? I just haven't looked into that avenue much.

Docker is usually easier to get started with but I don't think that would be the cause of your issue.

Maybe you tried this already, but the order of steps I would try is:

  1. Kick Muse from your guilds
  2. Shutdown Muse (if it's still running)
  3. Delete the database file
  4. Start Muse and re-invite
