M8 Box

I have a M8 box tried to install openelec on then it bricked. I have fix the brick now under model # its M9 and when it boots it did say M8 now its M8S. I need help to get openelec installed. Thanks

M8 is based on Amlogic S802 SoC, but M8S is based on S812 SoC and is different. M8S is currently not supported here.

Hi @codesnake, are there any plans to support the S812 SoC, or are you skipping this one directly to support S905 as mentioned on another issue?

There is already support for S812-based WeTek Core: https://github.com/OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv/tree/master/projects/WeTek_Core
