@codesnake hey I recently screwed up was tired and loaded your m8 firmware on my mx2 now I've got black screen any way I can fix this you help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Create bootable sdcard using Amlogic SDcardMaker and try to boot from it.

seems like my sdcard maker doesnt work i dont thik i have the right uboot for my box

Does your remote still turn it off? I had two MX2s that did that....they needed "OpenELEC-G18REF_MX2-4.2.1" first (it worked but the Openelec splash screen size was messed up) then I flashed to "OpenELEC-Amlogic.MX2.arm-5.0.3-update" and that worked perfect.

Might I suggest a q-tip instead of the "toothpick" method for resetting the box. If you cut one end off it fits in the hole pretty good, lines up on the button nice, and is easy on the finger. cheers
