Cannot invoke method startsWith() on null object @ line 1619

I get the following:

error java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke method startsWith() on null object @ line 1619

This comes from a second smart things controller on the same network as the main controller I use (which is not the SIS).

I'm seeing the same thing after I click on the Scan General tile per the setup instructions. Not able to link it to any of my other devices :(

I'm also getting this error message:-

1. Happening with Qubino Flush Dimmer
2. Doesn't happen with all Qubino flush dimmers- tested three, two work- one gives line 1619 error.

I am also getting this message. I've installed the latest code from GitHub. Can't get an initial scan.

I'm getting the same message - did anyone figure out a fix?
