Column incompatibility with Enigmail

Please see this bug report filed with Enigmail. The gist is: when Enigmail is installed together with toolbar buttons - and only then - the Enigmail column in Thunderbird disobeys the hide command.

I'm also struggling with this behavior. Thunderbird 60.4.0 (64-bit) - Linux Mint 19.1 Enigmail 2.0.9

The same is on Windows with the above versions.

I have the same problem. It happened intermittently in the past but it's been happening all the time since the 31/10 update. The only addon I have is enigmail. Win 7 x64, latest thunderbird 32 bit.
