1.10.0 snapshot is gone in oss sonatype ?

Open vminc opened this issue 4 months ago • 6 comments

https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/com/code-disaster/steamworks4j/steamworks4j/1.10.0-SNAPSHOT seems to no longer exist Is there anywhere we can pull 1.10.0 snapshot in gradle ?

Sonatype is deprecating that OSS repository/backend, and forces everyone to migrate to their new repository.

old: https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots new: https://central.sonatype.com/repository/maven-snapshots/

Looks like they now pulled the plug on the old one, at least for snapshots.

I did a quick test a while back with an upload to the new repository, but seems this got lost somehow. I pushed that snapshot again this morning, so now you should be able to fetch 1.10.0-SNAPSHOT.

Hi! I have exactly the same problem. The library is not found on either the new or old repository. Could you try pushing again, please? Thanks!

I can get the library from the new link now. Maybe your problem is related to the local cache?

Hi @code-disaster, would it be possible for you to make a new release 1.10.0? I would prefer my build not to break in the future if the SNAPSHOT would be removed again. Also it is a bit risky to depend on a SNAPSHOT as it could change at anytime.

I re-deployed the snapshot version, and pushed a 1.10.0 release version. Can you check if it works for you? It's the first release I deploy after that Maven Central change, so some confirmation would be great.

@code-disaster Yes, it's working! Thank you for building a new version. I will be using steamworks4j in my upcoming Kotlin steam app.
