🐞[BUG] Issue with (always visible) progress bar
Concise Description
Since some versions now, there is an issue with the progress bar and the point at its end. When you however the video with the mouse cursor, everything is fine for a moment. But without, when the control bar with the buttons on the bottom of the player collapses, the red point at the end of the progress bar is stuck and the bar progresses without it until the player is howevered again.

Update: Meanwhile, its getting worse since the progress bar now completely stopped working under the conditions mentioned above. Starting a video, the controls are getting hidden automatically correctly, the progress bar stays visible. But instead of just the bigger circle at its end not moving, now the whole progress bar does not get red anymore. Howvering the video and making the controls re-appear immediately fixes this. When they get hidden again, the issue immediately also starts again, though.
I have the same issue on Firefox. The progress bar only updates every 30 seconds or so when not hovering the cursor over the video.
I'm not sure what the status here is since there is no update from the developers ...
However, the extension has so many different issues, I'm meanwhile already testing alternatives as there are new ones before the old ones are fixed. To be fair, this mostly is YouTubes fault as they always are changing the platform and mostly not to its improvement (what makes this extensions come in handy in the end). But I cannot even open a YouTube page anymore without it being loaded 3 to 5 times already. And that is only the beginning. Reporting all that in here seems to make not much of a sense anymore. On top of all that, the differences between all the browsers make everything even more complicated. Maybe the time for such complex extensions is simply over since maintaining them is an insanely high effort now ...
I don't know about these kind of extensions being over. Give "enhancer for Youtube" a try and see if it fits your needs. It seems pretty well built.
