Show video chapters / key moments without opening the video

⚬ PROBLEM:

I think everyone knows the problem of bad or clickbait titles and would like to know what the video is actually about. Looking into the video chapters help with that.

Or you are looking for something specific that you think might be in a video, but opening each video is time-consuming.

⚬ SOLUTION:

I have come across this little feature in Google search. It is a dropdown menu for the key moments and chapters. It would be nice to have this directly on every video on YouTube.

I noticed that YouTube has this feature already in the search results. But it is still missing everywhere else.

so we can start easily with:

  • [ ] auto expanding that.

and

  • [ ] figure out how to get it on hover on video tiles and links,
  • [ ] and inside the player before clicking play. And below above/side always. Compare: #2476
  • [ ] and get efficient video list/tables views with that
