http://raw.githubusercontent.com/cnfree/eclipse/master/decompiler/update/content.xml gives "404: Not Found". The update folder in the git repo is empty.

The eclipse will access the url http://raw.githubusercontent.com/cnfree/eclipse/master/decompiler/update/content.jar

What is your eclipse version?

It's Eclipse Oxygen (just setting up the regular plug-ins again after upgrading). I also had this issue on Eclipse Neon.3, which wouldn't install updates anymore after failing on the JadClipse update site: meta-data of the new version was found, but the download fails; this caused the whole transaction to fail.

I don't know why your eclipse can't install the plugin.

Maybe you can try the offline installation.

The offline archive package is at https://github.com/cnfree/Eclipse-Class-Decompiler/releases/tag/v2.9.3.

Please download it and install it at the archive mode, thanks.

Hmm, I had JadClipse 3.0.0 installed on Neon.3. What happened to that version? [image: Inline image 1]

As a work-around, I've copied the features/plugins from Neon.3 to Oxygen, which works. In any case thanks for your backup solution: it may come in handy in the future!
