Hey @JustSteveKing, just noticed this ticket here and it seems like I forgot about this completely (silly me) 🙃

As you probably already know, we're going to release the first version of Framework X today and while planning the next features, we also talked about the middleware chapter in general. Nothing set in stone yet, but we want to completely rework the middleware chapter and a few others as well. We definitely want to include your additions in there, so maybe it makes sense to wait for the refactoring to avoid doubling the work.

I propose to close this ticket for now, but we'll definitely revisit this in an upcoming release when working on our middleware documentation. Hope this works for you :+1:
