Thermal Printer not actually printing anything

Open cawfeecoder opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

I installed the thermal printer drivers and the paper advances, but nothing is printed onto the paper. I'm probably doing something stupid...

Did you try the other side of the paper? An user on the forum found a paper that was reversed and had to put it on the opposite side.

you can use a key to see which side is the 'active side'. Scratch the thermal paper with a key, or your fingernail and it will turn dark on the active side.

Did this get resolved in the end?

Were you trying to print text, or images?

I did. Seems I never sent my response (was still in my draft), but I got it working :)
