add sanity checks for mkfs options

Describe the solution you'd like We're adding "options" support for target media configuration, with that the user may add extra arbitrary mkfs.* options, it would be nice to implement some sort of sanity checks before starting the install process and make sure the options are valid or potentially harmless.

Describe alternatives you've considered Maybe implement some sort of loopback block device to only test the commands against this dummy image.
