Post-Glitch hosting
I admit I completely lost track of what was happening after the Glitch shutdown.
Am I right in thinking this is straightforwardly still hostable on e.g. Debian with node etc?
I used the docker-compose file that was added a few months ago and put my instance in a container w/ no issue
yep, the docker instructions should still work okay, and the detailed writeup from Xavi on running it on a Raspberry Pi is generally useful advice for a bare-metal Linux install in general. README changes to get rid of the Glitch assumptions + losing the deprecated Node version stuff (also a Glitch requirement) should be the next updates... then I'm pondering tackling a branch to build on top of Fedify, which would presumably clear out a ton of interoperability issues that are currently holding people back from adoption.
