Receive and handle edited comments

We don't currently manage comment edits; ideally we should do something like Mastodon and other social media sites do where the previous versions of the comment are visible in a modal or behind some other kind of disclosure element.

This is the only remaining piece of #1(!) as of this writing; I'm breaking it out into its own issue due to the complexity of handling it.
