It's not something I've considered in the past, but certainly something that's not hard to do.

The only concern I have is that I'm squatting a fairly generic name for a very specific package. codesearch-py can't be used to search any other corpus or backend other than https://cs.chromium.org at the moment. I'm thinking of adding support for kythe so that editor plugins will get it for free, but that's just pie in the sky for now.
