[BUG] Frozen during AI response
Bug Description Possibly an issue upstream of this program... I generated a fairly lengthy code analysis with some previous thread history (tokens: 14664) on the response prior to the one currently having issues. The current response (see screenshot) permanently hangs at this state and then the entire program is unresponsive. Even on reboot of the program, if the response is retried, it will continue to freeze the window. The model being used is gemini-2.0-flash-thinking-exp-01-21.
Steps to Reproduce
I did the following in a different chat with the same model. I wasn't able to recreate the issue.
- Generate a huge history + long responses so the tokens used are pretty high (>14,000)
- Then generate a response relative to something in that history.
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- Operating System: Windows 11
- Application Version: 1.11.8
Additional Context I use this program almost daily and have had rather long threads going. This is the first time I've seen this happen.
Ive been met with this issue for several times, but i didnt know why it happened. Also, it seems only to happen in recent versions.
description append: when click the stop button, it will have an animation, and then the whole program gets stuck. After about 30s, it will finally get stopped.
I can produce this easily with a relatively simple query. There will be a period of animated dots. Then hitting the stop button causes the UI to hang.
