Project status? Worried it's abandoned
Hi! Love this project and it's been amazingly helpful but we're a bit concerned there have been no updates in 9 months. Is it still being maintained? Are you looking for help to do so?
A clear update on the status of the project would be very much appreciated. I know this is no one's full time job and open source is hard.
All the active Chapter Three maintainers are not working for Chapter Three anymore.
I guess it is time for a community supported fork.
Thank you for letting me know. Could be a conversation to start at DrupalCon Europe this year unless there are other similar projects in the works? The current system works brilliantly still so would be a shame for it to go.
I hope this isn't abandoned, I'm migrating from GatsbyJS to NextJS and this package appears to be a great replacement for the "gatsby-source-drupal" plugin I'm used to using. I don't really see anything alterantives out there in the world that compares to this either.
+1 on having a conversation on what to do next and what it means that the active maintainers aren’t at Chapter Three anymore
I’m at DrupalCon EU this week and would love to chat with anyone interested in Drupal and Next.js.
There is https://github.com/wunderio/next-drupal-starterkit but I think this is based on the next-drupal project.
Hey everyone. The project isn’t abandoned. I’m the only active maintainer from Chapter Three right now, and client work has taken up most of my time. Chapter Three has invested a lot in this project over the years, and at the moment there’s no budget allocated for the remainder of the year.
Community help is always welcome, and we’re open to bringing on additional maintainers. If you’re interested in getting more involved, whether that’s reviewing PRs, managing issues, helping guide direction, or supporting the project in any way, please reach out.
FYI: I have joined as a co-maintainer to assist with the project and will also try to involve some colleagues in contributing. From my conversation with @robdecker, it seems there may be some budget and time available from Chapter Three in the new year. Hopefully, with our combined efforts, we can get the project back on track.
