Use an array instead of an uninitialized wild pointer.
Using wild pointers is a dangerous practice, although you may not encounter errors now.
@garenchan you are dedicated to this wow. If u know C, you could maybe make more lessons and continue this! 😃:DDDDD I bet people would like that!
I don't think knowing C is enough. You also need to know enough about the operating system. Unfortunately, I know very little about either.
@garenchan Oh. Yeah I agree with that. I assume you at least know a little, because you made the commit to kernel.c Also can you check out my project that I based off of this, and I am now re-writing a lot of? https://github.com/Menotdan/DripOS
OK ! I will check out your project later and I am also interested in your changes.
@garenchan Pre thanks for the visit! I am tidying up the README right now. (I hope the markdown works) EDIT: yes it does work italic
I don't think knowing C is enough. You also need to know enough about the operating system. Unfortunately, I know very little about either.
Quick edit to that: I don't think knowing C is enough. You also need to know enough about how the computer works, and also assembly
The operating system is what you are coding.
I mean if I want to add more lessons and continue this, I need to know enough about the operating system. Otherwise I might not know about memory management, file system, process management, and so on.
@garenchan Oh I see. You still should also probably know assembly. Especially if you wanted 64bit mode
Yes, I agree with you!
