Misleading help info
Centreon Web 22.10.19 Centreon Engine 22.10.8
In the check command configuration page for the “Enable shell”’ option help it is stated:
“If your command requires shell features like pipes, redirections, globbing etc. check this box. If you are using Monitoring Engine this option cannot be disabled. Note that commands that require shell are slowing down the poller server.”
This is false. If the check box is unchecked, pipes and redirections aren’t working with Centreon Engine.
It would probably be an easy bug for me to start looking at the source code to eventually propose a fix myself, but I lost too much time already because of this :( I hope I don’t lose my time also with this bug report.
