Geocontainment issue with CBSAs

In answering a Zendesk question about "how can I know the counties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area", I have found a discrepancy in how Census Reporter "answers that question".

I thought the root of the answer was in this SQL query:

select * from tiger2019.census_geo_containment where parent_geoid ='31000US33460' and child_geoid like '05000%';

which returns 15 rows, the same as the number in the Sep 2018 Delineation file and the SQL script which sets this up

However, the results generated by searching for a table, then specifying "counties" (in) "Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI Metro Area" has 35 counties, both in the web and download fiew.
