Update Autofac from 4.x to 8.x

Describe the solution you'd like Autofac has moved on a long way since it was introduced to Catalyst and should be updated to the latest 8.x version. From from 4.x to 8.x is a big step and there will be many breaking changes introduced, but it will mitigate supply chain security risks connected to older versions of Autofac.
Describe alternatives you've considered Sticking with the current version of Autofac or removing it completely. Removing it would be too disruptive while leaving it unchanged will only create problems down the line.
Teachability, Documentation, Adoption, Migration Strategy There is no impact other than to developers. Documentation will not need changing.
