It's just the latest "dev" version has not been pushed as "stable" version. The latest version is mostly composed of updated dependencies and none of them are adressing critical problems...
Since it's running in a docker container, the port inside the container is not very important. Please share the command line you used to start the container, it may help....

You can change the default port to something higher than 1024 if you want... The fix is described in issue https://github.com/yllibed/Zigbee2MqttAssistant/issues/151#issuecomment-571297379 and https://github.com/yllibed/Zigbee2MqttAssistant/issues/67#issuecomment-540004743.
If it work... could you make a PR documenting this in the `README.md`, please? ;-)
That would be lovely!!! It would require a kind a constant connection with the client (which is not the case right now), but definitely a good feature!
I think a legend would be a good idea... so I change this issue to become a feature request. For your information, red means "old links". They are not used...
