[Feature Request] Make pop-outs configurable

Hello,

Are there any plans to make pop out windows configurable? As in, can we use a custom method to make a pop out window and inject data/component into it, and then handle the pop in at the end.

Also is it possible for the pop out window to stay open when the tab is closed in the main part of the layout. or rather for the tab containing the placeholder for the pop out to get hidden or something similar

Good ideas, that I will add to the list of requested improvements, but no immediate plans in that area.
