Sign in - dev environment - not working

Hi @markwooff,

I've tried signing in multiple times to the dev environment using this GitHub account and Internet Explorer. When I click the sign in button, I get sent to the GitHub/sign in page. Once I click on sign in using GitHub, my browser gets redirected to the home page, but there is no evidence I've been signed in. I still see the sign up and sign in options, and my profile picture/settings are not available.

n.b. I was able to sign in to the same site with the same account using my personal machine and chrome.
