It's an email link, does it try to open a mail client?

Hi @Beingadnan, can you tell me what you wanted to do here?

the 'contributing' does do anything but the community link is an email which allows you to send mails to their community @PriyaSingh1605

Hi @birm, I think this could work out as a link to the organizations Slack or Discord Server for discussions.

The contributing button doesn't do anything because that's the community page.

We need to find a better community hub. We have used github discussions before. Slack is bothersome because the messages expire unless we pay per seat. We could try discord or zulip?

Suggested Improvement for the Community Group Link Thank you for addressing the issue with the community group link. While the link's functionality seems correct (redirecting users to their default email client for drafting a message to the caMicroscope Google Group), it could still lead to confusion for users:

If their email client is not configured (e.g., opening a blank browser tab instead). If they are expecting a web-based discussion forum instead of an email draft. Proposed Enhancement: To make the behavior of this link clearer, consider adding a small note or tooltip on the page:

Clicking this link will open your default email client to compose a message to the caMicroscope community group. Ensure your email client is configured.

This would reduce ambiguity and improve usability for all users. Let me know if I can assist in implementing this change!
