negative layers

I put mine iron_ore, mine and all that but it does not detect the ores in negative layers and therefore does not mine them

That particular behavior is new but there is a known and fixed bug involving negative y coordinates in FasterWorldScanner so you should try updating Baritone.

Can you tell me step by step? because I couldn't find the FasterWorldScanner option

FasterWorldScanner is the part of Baritone used to scan for blocks and there was a "recent" bug fix because there was a line of code still assuming that the world ends at y level 0. There is no option you could change for this, just grab a version of Baritone made after Nov. 18. 2023 (for mc 1.19) or after Jan. 6 2024 (for mc 1.20) and test whether the problem is gone.

Are you including deepslate iron ore and iron ore? Because they are different blocks
