What if clock of the camera and the gps device are not correlated ?

gps should take priority (you cannot set it yourself)

Good point, I agree, especially since pictures taken in 1980 are a common problem with non-smartphone cameras, they often reset time when their batteries die. Whereas GPS tracks come from watch or smartphone which are better at this.
