@aschempp the `DefaultLabelsListener` does not exist in 5.3.

I've got some insights. My custom `contao/languages/de/tl_news.php` file gets loaded after the `DcaLoader::addDefaultLabels`. Any idea why this is?

Does not work even with cache (in prod mode): But there are translations for this fields in the edit mask.

behaviour is also random: Most of the additional fields are from the app itself not from extensions - some work, some do not.

Nope. Just german translations.
