Scalar Objects

In newer version of this package I see that the Scalar objects are removed whereas the php-git-hooks package is still dependent on that and hence breaking it. Is there a reason why are these objects removed, and what needs to be done in order to upgrade the https://github.com/bruli/php-git-hooks. ?
