Drag & Drop between multiple drives not being confirmed

Open padretwo19859 opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

I downloaded the code, installed (on my Windows 11) machine, and it worked - sort of. I will get a confirmation prompt if I drag & drop from the C: to somewhere else on the C: drive. If I do it for C: to D:, or C: to E: hard disks, I get no confirmation prompt. I also don't get a confirmation prompt if I drag & drop from C: to X: (which is a mapped drive).

Thoughts?

Hmmm, I'm using it with Win11 too. In my case I do get the Question for all the above situations! On a first thought I do think, it either should work with all drives or none....

  • Did you apply the .reg File?
  • What is the display language of Win 11, do the texts in the .reg file match with it? Do you possibly have different "ItemText" ("&Move here") or "ItemText2" ("&Copy here") for drive D:, E: and X: in comparison with C:?
