For those who want to try shiny-server on Apple silicon ARM-based mac, I made a log of successful installation starting from github source at https://github.com/rstudio/shiny-server/issues/524#issuecomment-2122303394

Tested on Apple M2 with macos Sonoma 14.4.1 and 14.5.

% /opt/shiny-server/bin/shiny-server  --version
Shiny Server v1.  5.  23.0
Node.js v20.13.1
