Unable to add full length equation into google slides

While I add cases to represent any kind of 'if' and 'else' statement, the equation generated are shown in the math Equation UI block, however, the complete equation are not added to the slide.

For example, please try the below equation and add it to a slide. \Delta_{i}^{'}(t) = \begin{cases} X_{i_{j}}, & \text{if } i = i_j, \ \Delta_{i}^{'}(t-1) + X_{i_{j}}, & \text{otherwise}. \end{cases}
