Fsx Lustre support for Bottlerocket variants on EKS

What I'd like:

Support for Fsx Lustre on EKS when using Bottlerocket on Managed Nodes. I cannot find any documentation verifying this is supported.

Any alternatives you've considered:

No, I have seen an issue raising Fsx NetApp using Trident operator but the demand here is for Fsx Lustre with Bottlerocket

Hi, Thanks for reaching out.

You should be able to use Amazon FSx for Lustre with Bottlerocket. I was able to use this guide (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eks/latest/userguide/fsx-csi-create.html) mentioned in https://github.com/bottlerocket-os/bottlerocket/issues/3459#issuecomment-2080078691 to run the sample Pod on my cluster.

Can you share details of your setup and what errors you are seeing?
