Get ECS Agent logs to Cloudwatch Logs

What I'd like:

I'd like to get ECS Agent logs into Cloudwatch Logs.

This is necessary to know what ECS task launch errors have happened from permissions, networking, or API limits.

Any alternatives you've considered:

Follow the manual process here to download a tarball from a running instance: https://github.com/bottlerocket-os/bottlerocket?tab=readme-ov-file#logs

But that is obviously pretty terrible log access.

We also run production ECS load on Bottlerocket, and need to be able to ship ecs-agent logs somewhere

I hope we don't have to switch back to AL2023 ECS hosts just to see ecs-agent logs

Ticket 2747 may help - but it's not clear to me if ecs-agent logs would be included
