Add custom location for downloaded podcasts?
I believe it currently downloads files to Internal -> Podcasts, which I was a little surprised by. I would expect something with the name of the app.

@aharris88 It is the recommended location for podcast episodes, although most apps don't do it: https://developer.android.com/reference/android/os/Environment.html#DIRECTORY_PODCASTS
@Trevonn I actually think the idea has some legs, because there have been some confusion in the past about the location of the files.
I didn't actually know where the files were stored. My plan was to point it to the recommended location though. I guess this feature could be useful for SD cards user's though?
In the latest beta I have installed, there is a setting to change the location of downloaded podcasts.
It's found under Settings > About and I wonder if it shouldn't be moved somewhere more appropriate ;)
But it doesn't seem to work. Not under Oreo at least; it opens the standard file picker, but nothing I do within it has any effect. It can't select files and I don't see a mechanism for selecting folders.
@AeliusSaionji It doesn't work for me either; as you say you can't actually pick a folder.
Also the "Store podcasts on SD Card" option isn't having any effect either. The podcasts stay in
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.bottiger.podcast/files/Podcasts. Without being able to store podcasts on the SD card it's a non-starter for me unfortunately
