Implement polygonal selection

Allow selections to be made with polygons would be a very usefull addition to the current toolset. All of the current selection functions (except Rotate/Flip/Center) would be very handy. Additionally recoloring withing selections could be a good feature too (but likely deserves a seperate issue).
