I show offline under certain circumstances

To some of my friends I don't show as being online even though Bitlbee is connected. It seems to be related to the mobile app, as none of the people using that see me (web chat seems to work just fine). Also, other people connected to FB through Bitlbee don't see me as online and I don't see them either.

In all cases communication works, it's just a little hard to see who's actually online.
