Forgets keybinding

Ubuntu 16.04 1.6.0-beta7

Keybinding forgotten at startup (shift-left click) visiting edit->preferences->packages causes it to remember and the key binding kicks in and sublime-syle-column-selection then works. till the next startup

I noticed this really strange behavior too.

Sublime-style-column-selection 1.5.1 Atom 1.7.3 windows 8.1

I'm using the default keybinding (alt + shift-left click). The keybinding is not recognized until I open the settings page.

Yes, I've seen this too

Sublime-style-column-selection 1.5.1 Atom 1.7.4 Mac OS X 10.11.5

Using the default keybinding; not working until I visit the Settings page.
