Dude, I have done everything there is to do, yet unable to get the websocket server to work in production. Been at it for 45 days. I am using a VPS and when i do: php artisan tinker >>> event(new \App\Events\EmailVerified('[email protected]')) Illuminate\Broadcasting\BroadcastException with message 'Pusher error: .' This vague error comes up.

I had such an error. The problem was in APP_URL. It needs to be the same as PUSHER_HOST in .env file.
