Possible help for standalone use?

Hi! I used the path to polygon tool in the online version (https://betravis.github.io/shape-tools/path-to-polygon/) and really like it! I have not been able to find any similar tool. However, I only know Python and am not able to run the code. I would like to be able to run the conversion as a method within a Python script, or alternatively in the command line, or even as an added functionality to the web interface for batch conversion. I wonder if this is something you have any tips for, or if it is a realistic wish for future additions?
