Prompt windows become unreachable after opening new tab

Describe the Bug

Prompt window from permissions and new hyperdrive can't be interacted with after a new tab has been opened. It also visually renders behind the main content, even when you switch back to the original tab. To Reproduce

  1. Click on 'New Drive' from beaker://desktop/.
  2. Open a new tab

Expected Behavior

Prompt window remains interactable in new tab, alternatively remains only in the original tab. Screenshots

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS 64-bit

Additional Context I've had issues in general with opening new tabs, sometimes they wont open at all and sometimes the app becomes unresponsive while waiting for the new tab to open

Sorry for the delayed response, I declared inbox bankruptcy for a couple months while we finished 1.0.

And huh, wow, that's a really odd bug. I haven't seen anything like that in Ubuntu, but it looks like the whole UI composition system is broken. I'll try to reproduce that...
