GL codes for vital stats

Description

To disburse money to vital stats, we need to configure proper GL to the database. Ticket is to collect the GL and update in DB for PROD.

Tasks

• [ ] When ticket has been created, post the ticket in RocketChat '#Operations Tasks' channel
• [ ] Add entity or relationships label to zenhub ticket
• [ ] Add 'Priority1' label to zenhub ticket
• [ ] Assign zenhub ticket to milestone: current, and place in pipeline: sprint backlog
• [ ] Reply All to IT Ops email and provide zenhub ticket number opened and which team it was assigned to
• [ ] Dev/BAs to complete work & close zenhub ticket
• [ ] Author of zenhub ticket to mark ServiceNow ticket as resolved or ask IT Ops to do so

Hi Amit, Jyoti,

1. I was going through the below list of GL codes and can see there is a separate code for the Wills Search Rush Service [Afaik Rush service is something which we support in new system and not in old system]. With our current setup of codes, Will Search Rush will be added to the same GL as Will Search. If this is really needed, we will need to create a new code for Wills Search with Rush service - $53.00. In this case all $53.00 goes to the GL code, not just $33.00. Vital stats dev team will need to make a change for this. Please confirm.

2. As discussed in the standup earlier, currently we use a single variable BCOL fee code per partner for all the transactions on BCOL drawdown. This is done to allow the new system to do the calculation and then to push the transaction to BCOL, also it allows combining multiple transactions [e.g, Annual Report and Change of Director, Wills Search and Alias] together. The disadvantage of this is all of the stat fee amount would go to the same GL code, as BCOL maps GL code per fee code. Please confirm this with vital stats. All the accounts using new payment methods [PAD and Credit Card], transactions would get pushed to correct GL codes, but accounts using Drawdown would go to single GL code.
