Generic Dashboard Table for Examiners
All users will user the same dashboard.
Examiner Dashboard will look the same but needs to include all types of applications
Application number Status User Name ?
table structure won't change, search won't change,
team will get together and decide which columns to change.
Requirements: The table will show the following column:
- [x] Application # (click and redirect to application details page)
- [x] Registration # (click and redirect to registration details page)
- [x] Application type - platform, host (indv), host (business), property manager, strata hotel
property manager: meaning the application is initiated by a property manager
host: meaning the application is initiated by a host - [x] Property Address - address of property, strata hotel or platform platform: business mailing address (including country)
- [x] Applicant Name - name of host, platform or strata platform: use business legal name
- [x] Status
- [x] Fee - see receipt
- [x] Submission Date
run this by Stefanie before changing.
Do we need to do this for December 15th? As we only have Hosts currently?
@kris-daxiom @forgeuxGH5 I don't think we need design for this. We just need to pick common fields for this and provide instructions to the developers to change the UI. Correct?

Tested the different paths to Registration and Application. Seems to work fine even after status changes. One remark:
- If you are in the registry-dashboard, and in the "All" tab and you click on either application or registration and then you navigate back to the dash, you always return to the view of the first TAB: "Full Review" and not the "All" Tab. Maybe not a biggie, but since I was going back and forth it struck me as not great.
@fionazhou-jsb As requested a screen print of the columns shown:
If you can't see the picture above download from
https://drive.google.com/file/d/15SpDLCVFw21gaqtsE26rkBBxAqD3qfGu/view?usp=sharing
reading through the comments, we should run this by @stcepeda before changing it. Stefanie, the screenshot above is what the table view looks like for host/pm applications and platform applications. For Dec release, we want to make the table generic that will fit both host and platform applications. Suggestion: remove registration #, possibly remove listing address as it is not applicable for platforms???
@fionazhou-jsb @rstens The screenshot link is broken. Can you please share again?
Values in columns could be N/A (e.g., listing address for platforms). Listing address seems like a pretty valuable column here. Having no listing address is also a good visual indicator that there are different types of items in the list (there should be an icon for each type but we can deal with that later). There will be very few platforms also right? (relative to host applications say)
The type values would be Host, Strata Hotel, Platform?
Removing Registration Number I think would depend who is using this - is this all Housing staff - not just Adjudicators (Examiners)? If it's everyone we should keep Registration Number.
There must be some platform data like the business name that will help the examiner identify the platform. It would be great if the listing details column can be repurposed to include listing detail for a host/PM and business name for a platform.
Type values would be Host, Strata Hotel or Platform
Registration number is common for all applications, so not sure why that needs to be removed
As we already discussed, the Examiner UI needs to be redesigned post MVP . For MVP, it the changes can be kept to minimum, it would be great
Hi all - I can't see the screenshot - link is broken so I'm working from the figma. For the examiner dashboard, assuming that host, property manager and platform applications will be processed through one dashboard for Dec 16th, we need to give examiners a way to sort the work so they can each take on a separate stream of work to process applications. Since they can't assign work, they will likely end up taking on different types of applications for each person so they're not duplicating work.
Here is an ideal situation:
- Application #
- Application type - platform, host (indv), host (business), property manager, strata hotel
- PR Requirement - PR requirement Y/N, NA for platform
- BL requirement - BL requirement Y/N, NA for platform
- Property Address - address of property, strata hotel or platform
- Applicant Name - name of host, platform or stata
- Status
- Submission Date
I don't know if PR and BL can be done for Dec 15, but the others already being used, except for application type. Thoughts?
@stcepeda can you clarify?
- Application type - host (indv), host (business), property manager - how do we define property manager as an application type? when an application has a property manager (could be added by host or pm initiated the application) or only when a pm initiates an application?
- Applicant Name - platform - are we using primary platform rep name or the person who completes the form because it could be different person? or we should use legal business name?
- Property Address - for platform, shall we use business mailing address?
For December 16th
Application # Application type - platform, host (indv), host (business), property manager, strata hotel Property Address - address of property, strata hotel or platform Applicant Name - name of host, platform or stata Status Submission Date
@shaangill025 discussed with Stefanie today. Please proceed.
@mbertucci When you click on the platform # what page should be displayed? Cc : @thorwolpert @lorriewright
@mbertucci Can we add fee paid to the dashboard as well?
Application # Application type - platform, host (indv), host (business), property manager, strata hotel Property Address - address of property, strata hotel or platform Applicant Name - name of host, platform or stata Status Fee (only add if it's easy) Submission Date
@shaangill025 please see above columns
@mbertucci We don't store how much fee is paid in our system. None of the systems integrating with the payment does that currently. We store the invoice id and use that to fetch details from payment. We can use that invoice id to download the receipt. So the max we can do is to provide a link to download the receipt. Cc @shaangill025
Ok don't include it for Dec 16th

Tested all columns and check with Shaanjot.
Please note that the receipt will not download for applications that were create with account 39. (The bypass payment account)
@fionazhou-jsb would you mind testing this again to make sure it works
@rstens found one issue - when an application is initiated by property manager (selecting pm as the role), the type is pm, which is correct. When an application is initiated by property host (selecting property host as the role and chose Yes they have a property manager and added pm info), the type is pm, which is incorrect. The type should be Host. cc @mbertucci
When the type is property manager, it means the application is initiated by a property manager.

@shaangill025
You missed the application type requirements
Application type - platform, host (indv), host (business), property manager, strata hotel property manager: meaning the application is initiated by a property manager

Looking good, all previous mentioned issues/changes have been addressed.
