UI Design - User Testing: QS Sale/Gift flow
Recommendations Document (Based from User Testing)
Goals Qualified Suppliers (Lawyers/Notaries)
We will provide Qualified Suppliers full access to modernized Transfer due to Sale or Gift application and observe their behaviour to determine if:
- Filing instructions Clear
- Procedures are being followed
- When creating a Tenants in Common how easy or complicated it is to create groups using fractional interest
- Using the new paper forms with the online application
Objectives
As a Qualified Supplier I am tasked to file a Transfer due to Sale or Gift in the modernized application. After filing, they will need to send the verification to your client. Owner Type registration types we will be testing:
- Sole Owner to Joint Tenancy
- Joint Tenancy to Tenants in Common
- Incomplete Form - See if they follow procedure when not all owners have signed the bill of sale (Time Penting
Method
- We will use the test environment to run the Transfer due to Sale and Gift application with full access of the ownership component.
- Provide Participants with pre-filled Bill of Sale and Ownership Transfer Forms
- Will use Teams to record and transcript the user testing
- Follow up Questionnaire to find out more about the overall experience
Usability Metrics
The following metrics will be used to measure usability.
Effectiveness Task success
Efficiency This study will use a “Think-aloud” method which makes timing metrics invalid measures of efficiency. Efficiency may be measured by the number of steps taken from the shortest path to success for a given task. Use of this metric may be conducted post hoc through analysis of session recordings.
Satisfaction
- Subjective task ease of use (SEQ)
- Subjective satisfaction with the application for the performance of core tasks
- System Usability Scale – SUS Questionnaire-based method to assess the usability of a system or product through a series of standardized questions.

Participant Criteria
- Will need as least 5 Qualified Suppliers that are Lawyers and Notaries
- Must have a current account or have used BC Online
- Is familiar with filing a Transfer due to Sale or Gift

- fractional interest (don't know how to have joint tenancy in a group) Not certain how the program works to create a joint tenancy.

Hey @arlentees I created this epic to store all of my findings.
I created tickets from the Recommendations Document I created. I'm hoping to review this with you on Monday or Tuesday so we can determine the priority of the tickets.
There are still a couple of items I'd like to review with Scott, but these should be ready for grooming on Thursday.
I'd also like to present my finds at Wednesday's PO Design Sync. I'm still working on the analytics for this, but it will be ready to show at Wednesdays meeting.
