UI - Home tenancy type displays as N/A instead of Joint Tenants when there are two or more owners without groups
- [ ] When there are two or more owners (no groups added), then home tenancy type is displayed as 'N/A' instead of 'Joint Tenants'.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Select an MHR Registration with a Sole Owner
- Navigate to the Home Owners component and select 'Transfer due to sale/gift'
- Add an owner to the table without Groups.
- Home Tenancy type displays as 'N/A'
Review & Confirm: Private Zenhub Image
After filing the transfer due to sale/gift, when user clicks on the 'Open' button to file another transfer, then the Home tenancy type is displayed as Joint Tenants as expected: Private Zenhub Image
@chdivyareddy this is an old ticket. I tried to reproduce but it works as expected - the Tenancy displays as Joint Tenants.
So maybe this is a verify ticket.
Verified in DEV - in both screens showing Joint Tenants.
Hey @dimak1 , I still see this issue in TEST, maybe you would have tried adding with 2 persons, I see this issue when there is a combination of person and business. Please take a look, thanks!
Hi @chdivyareddy, I checked the mixed roles rules (which have been in use for about a year). It's supposed to display 'N/A', because it was a requirement from #15737: set group tenancy (if TIC) or home tenancy (if SO/JT) to "N/A" when ownership group contains mismatched roles. So when there is a mixed of Reg Owner and Business, the tenancy correctly displays N/A. So this is not a bug.
Good Morning @dimak1 , as per 15737, I believe mismatched roles means mix of owners and executors/admins. Outputs does display Joint Tenants when there is a person and business in the same group. Can you please take a look and will reach out to Liz if there is a requirement gap, thanks!!
Example from TEST: 2024-04-17_BCMHR_Transfer_108179.pdf
@chdivyareddy, so you believe the requirement in #15737 was not implemented properly after UXA and QA verifications? @LizGovier could you please clarify, if the requirement - set group tenancy (if TIC) or home tenancy (if SO/JT) to "N/A" when ownership group contains mismatched roles - refers to Owner/Business or Exec/Admins?
@dimak1 @chdivyareddy
Mismatched roles would be: Owners, Executors, Administrators, or Bankruptcy Trustee. Not Person/Business
@LizGovier thanks Liz, looks like we lived with it for a year. I will update it. Thank you
Fixed and ready in DEV.
Verified in DEV for new MH Registration and Transfer flows.
MH Registration:

Transfers: Groups (TIC)

Transfers: SO/JT (without groups)
