sync takes ages

Hi

After installing VGrive the first sync took a reasonable amount of time and everything seemed all right.

After a PC restart, I can see from advanced view that it checks one-by-one all files (which are already synced) with approximately 2 sec. per file. Considering that I have ~ 2.5 GB of data, it will take ages to "sync" (basically it says "not delete/moved") and start syncing the new files.

Is this normal or I am doing something wrong?

OS: Ubuntu 20.04 VGrive installed from .deb

EDIT:

  1. it seems to start from the same file every time I stop and restart it
  2. after a while it crashes and starts from the beginning :(

Was running into the same problem - this worked for me:

  1. Stop sync
  2. Delete/rename the .vgrive_library file
  3. Start sync again

You'll notice the sync order followed what was is in the file, removing the file began syncing from remote from the beginning for me
