Android chromecast - example app

Hey to everyone,

Android Device: GALAXY A50 OS: Android 11

I'm running the example app of this repo to test if chromecast is working properly before implementing it on my app. The app is running correctly but the chromecast on the app bar is disabled. I would like to know if anyone is having this problem.

I solved it, the Chromecast device wasn't configured properly. I also have a smart TV where, from the YouTube app for example, I can cast a video from my Android device. Is the Chromecast button supporting only Chromecast devices? Is there a way to support a smart tv or AirPlay devices?
