add ability to change length of each segment

I really need to be able to change the length of each segment. My use case is because I only want 1 segment with a length of 6.

This also allows for a lot of flexibility and matches what the guys over in JS land have for their version of this code generator.

Lastly, I didn't update the signatures to support any order but it would be nice if order of the parameters didn't matter when validating a code.

It's a good improvement but sadly it seems like the project owner already abandoned it.
