Flush DNS cache of machine hostname prior to wake up call
Hi,
Firstly, thanks for a great app.
Could you add a checkbox for something like "Flush in DNS resolver cache" on the target machine properties form that will remove the hostname from the DNS resolver cache prior to sending the wake up call.
Wake On LAN wasn't working for me because the resolver cache was sometimes out of date. Flushing the record would solve this issue.
It is possible to clear just a single entry from the cache programmatically - I have some example code if you need it. You could also read this SO question - and the 4th answer down:

Hi, sure thing. I would like to understand more about what is happening on your side. Are you using DHCP for your hosts? I don't understand what kind of situation would be causing you difficulty.
Also, status does depend on IP, but Wake-Up is entirely based on the MAC address and DNS is not involved.
Can you give more background info?
